The ski resort in winter
The alpine ski area comprises 90 kms of groomed ski slopes, 29 lifts and a highly ranked snowpark with a half-pipe, boardercross and 4 jump lines. Night skiing is offered once a week.
In the Bouchet Valley and in the upper part of Le Chinaillon, near the old village, the cross-country skiing area offers more than 60 kms of perfectly groomed trails.
On top of cross-country and alpine skiing, the Grand-Bornand offers a wide variety of winter activities spanning from ice climbing, snowshoeing (alone, in groups, during the day or at night, for adults and kids), ski touring to dog sledging and sledging to name just a few. A delight for all ages!
You would rather relax than exercise? You may enjoy your time at the movies, at the library, shopping, at coffee shops or indulge pampering at one of the spas.
Perfect resort for kids, Le Grand-Bornand offers an incredible variety of actvities and services for kids. Your kids' experience will start at the amazing and incredibly competent day care Les P'tits Maringouins et Le Chinaillon. The leisure club "P'tits Loups, trappeur, skate, jeune" entertains those between 4-16 through the discovery of nordic sports. Also, at the top of the « Rosay » gondola, « Mom'en ski » offers a lesson + meal package for your kids, 4 to 12 years old.
